Turkeys

Here are my 5 turkeys that I have been raising since early July.  My brother built me this really neat mobile pen so they can be outside.  It has a door at one end for adding food and water as well as two wheels for easier moving.  It's meant for chickens but so far works fine for the turkeys although soon they'll be too tall for it.  As soon as the garden is closer to being finished they'll be able to run around outside.

Haying is over.

We finished our second cut of hay about 2 weeks ago.  It was a bit damp so the quality wasn't as good as we would've liked however the weather turned quite rainy the next day so we decided not to wait.  Here is a picture of me after raking the back field from 1st cut.
